Beechwood Church is a Reformed Baptist congregation made up of families of all ages and from all backgrounds. We center our corporate life around the authoritative preaching of the full-counsel of God’s Word and the sacraments established by Christ (Believer’s Baptism and the Lord’s Supper). Our worship music is contemporary, yet rooted in the ancient traditions of the Church; our preaching is biblical and gospel-centered; our fellowship is rich; our church life is Christ-centered; our theology is Trinitarian, Covenantal, and Calvinistic; our focus is on the gospel; our purpose and mission is the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ filling the earth!

The Bible teaches that each local church should be led by a plurality of godly, qualified men called Elders. These Elders, among other things, must be blameless men who know and stand upon the authority of God’s Word. They are charged by God with feeding His sheep with the truth of His Word, guiding them in following His will, equipping them to do the work of the ministry, and protecting them from wolves and from sin. The bottom line: Biblical church leadership is important because without it, God’s people are like sheep without shepherds. To meet our team click here.

Core Groups

Besides our Sunday morning worship gatherings, our church’s community and discipleship life takes place in a more intimate way at our various “Core Groups” (small groups of eight to ten families which gather in local communities for the purpose of fellowship, prayer, mutual accountability, and study around the Word). We encourage all of our members to take part in their designated Core Group, and new members are gladly welcomed.

Kid’s Church

Every Thursday evening (during select seasons of the year) beginning at 6:30 we minister in a special way to the many children both of our own congregation and of the surrounding communities. We play games, feed them a meal, sing songs, gather around for a Bible lesson, and then separate into smaller groups to focus on prayer and counseling.
A host of adults from our church serve as Counselors who involve themselves in the lives of our community’s children, many of whom have little spiritual guidance or oversight outside of Beechwood Church.

Good News Club

Beechwood is proud to partner with C.E.F. of Greenville as we seek to do our part to reach the children of our community with the Gospel.

World Worship Background

Global Missions

Here at Beechwood, we are convinced by sacred Scripture that the spread of the Gospel not only at home but also around the world is part of our Christ-given mission. For that reason we are actively engaged in sending missionaries and supporting national missionaries prayerfully and financially. We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers in the fields of the world, either by going themselves or by giving to those so called.
